What is the day like at CPP's Summer Program?
At 8:30am, our experienced teachers invite the children to engage in a variety of activities. After a morning meeting, students head outside for outdoor explorations with the sandbox, water table, building blocks and garden.
Snack time is next, often outside as well.
Then story time, followed by guided discovery activities
and music until the 12:30 pick-up time.
If your student is staying on for the extended day option, they will have lunch with the teachers followed by music, math and language play, a rest time, and then more play time until the 3pm pick-up.
Your child should bring a bathing suit, hat, towel, change of clothes and school shoes (safe for both indoor and water play, we get wet!)
Please apply sunscreen prior to the start of the day and leave some at the school
if you would like the teachers to reapply as needed.
If your child is staying for extended day, please provide a lunch and toothbrush.
